2018-06-26 :: The V Municipal Strategies Contest 2018, Organised within the Strategic Planning Leaders Forum 2018, Got Its First Contestant

Bugulminsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan has become the first to apply for the V Municipal Strategies Contest 2018 (MSC-2018). The district adopted the Strategy for Socio-Economic Development for 2016-2021 and for the Planning Period until 2030 in April 2016, and now is ready to compete for the title of "The Best Municipal Strategy 2018".

The Contest has attracted attention of municipalities from all regions of Russia from Kaliningrad and Crimea to the Amur region. The Single Application Center accepts calls from administrations of cities and districts that are preparing for submission. Several districts of Tatarstan expressed their wish to participate in the contest, and the Bugulminsky district has turned out to be the first contestant.

The MSC-2018 is open to municipalities with a population up to 300 thousand people, which have adopted/updated the strategy for socio-economic development during the period from June 28, 2014 to August 1, 2018.
