2018-07-20 :: ICSER Leontief Centre’s Activities within the Federal Target Program “Improving Road Safety in 2013-2020”

On July 19-20, Head of Internet Projects and Marketing Communications Olga Iakimenko showcased international experience in reducing greenhouse gas emissions from road transport and spoke about efforts to tackle climate change at the Research to Practice Seminar “Modern Methods to Make Urban Transportation Systems Environmentally Sustainable and Safe” (Kaliningrad). The seminar was held within the framework of the Federal Target Program “Improving Road Safety in 2013-2020” on behalf of the Ministry of Transport of Russia.

As a part of the Federal Target Program, the International Conference “Introduction of Innovative “Green and Healthy” Technical and Technological Solutions in Motor and Urban Passenger Transport: Global Trends and Opportunities” will take place at the Strategic Planning Leaders Forum on October 23, 2018. Organizers: JSC “Scientific and Research Institute of Motor Transport” (JSC NIIAT), Transport, Health and Environment Pan-European Programme Secretariat (THE PEP), Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, ICSER Leontief Centre. 

Leading Russian and international experts from Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy and Japan have already confirmed their attendance at the conference.
