2018-09-19 :: Leontief Centre Took Part in the All-Russian Municipal Forum in Moscow

On September 18-19, the All-Russian Municipal Forum “Local Self-Government: Modern Challenges” was held in Moscow. Forum Organizer – Publishing House “Budget” with the support of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Union of State Finance Development, Financiers Union of Russia, Union of Russian Cities, Association of Far Eastern and Siberian Cities, Association of Cities of the Volga Region.

The forum agenda included a wide range of issues related to the development of cities and municipal districts. Rimma Voronkova, Head of Spatial Development Unit at the Resource Centre for Strategic Planning under Leontief Centre, made a report “Paradigm Shift in Territorial Planning. Spatial Aspects”, dedicated to the challenges of the relationship between strategic and territorial planning, within the section “Urban Planning and Strategic Planning at the Municipal Level”.

The forum was attended by heads of municipalities, heads of local financial bodies and economic services, members of representative bodies of municipalities, officers from financial bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, experts.
