2018-11-09 :: St. Petersburg Passed THE PEP “Baton” to Rimini (Italy)

On November 9, St. Petersburg passed the Transport, Health and Environment Pan-European Programme (THE PEP) “baton” to Rimini (Italy) at the conference “Active mobility - Making the change towards a green and healthy urban transport environment”, held in Rimini.

The Russian side was represented by Elena Belova, Secretary General at ICSER Leontief Centre, Green Mobility Partnership Initiative Coordinator; Olga Iakimenko, Head of Internet Projects and Marketing Communications at ICSER Leontief Centre, Green Mobility Partnership Initiative Development Coordinator; Vadim Donchenko, Chief Research Adviser to Director General at JSC “NIIAT”, Chairman of THE PEP Bureau.

The ceremonial handover of THE PEP “baton” from Mannheim (Germany) to St. Petersburg took place on October 23 during the Strategic Planning Leaders Forum 2018 at the conference organized within the framework of the Federal Target Program “Improving Road Safety in 2013-2020”. This conference is Russia’s contribution to THE PEP Relay Race. Organizers: Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, JSC “NIIAT”, ICSER Leontief Centre.
