2019-04-23 :: Leontief Centre Joined the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network

Leontief Centre joined the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN). All work by the SDSN is focused on supporting the implementation of the Agenda 2030 and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). SDSN has been operating since 2012, bringing together universities, research institutions, civil society, and other organizations involved in sustainable development. SDSN includes over 80 countries and 500 organizations around the world.

SDSN works closely with United Nations agencies and other international organizations. The SDSN activities cover issues of low-carbon energy and sustainable industries; sustainable agriculture and food systems; forests, oceans, biodiversity and ecosystem development; sustainable smart cities; a new role for business in sustainable development, etc.

The head office of SDSN Russia is based at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), at the Centre for Economic Modeling of Energy and Environment.
