2019-05-30 :: The Student Research Project of the Leontief Centre Chair Ended

On May 29, the student research project “Comparative Analysis of Fiscal Capacity of the Capital Cities of Russia’s Regions”, initiated by the Leontief Centre Chair at Higher School of Economics St. Petersburg, summed up its results at the Leontief Centre’s Conference Hall.

10 bachelors of the 3rd year, Public Administration Bachelor’s Programme, St. Petersburg School of Social Sciences and Area Studies, took part in the project, led by Olga Rusetskaya, Associate Professor of the Leontief Centre Chair, Cand. Sc. (Economics).

The goal of the research was to examine fiscal capacity of large Russian cities with a population of over 250 thousand people including regional capital cities.
