2020-07-09 :: Leontief Centre Experts Have Become Members of the Strategic Planning Leaders Forum 2020 Programme Committee

The composition of the Programme Committee of the XIX Annual Strategic Planning Leaders Forum of the Regions and Cities of Russia: Reality 2020 and Agenda for the Next Decade has been approved. Alexei Kudrin, Chair of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, and Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, have become the Programme Committee Co-Chairs. The Programme Committee consists of heads and representatives of the relevant RF State Duma committees, Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, Federal Ministries and Agencies of the Russian Federation, St. Petersburg Government, Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Center for Strategic Research, ICSER Leontief Centre and other leading expert organizations. The Committee includes the following experts from ICSER Leontief Centre: Elena Belova, Secretary General, Head of Development Department; Boris Zhikharevich, Director of the Resource Centre for Strategic Planning under Leontief Centre – Forum Academic Supervisor; Irina Karelina, Director-General.

The XIX Annual Strategic Planning Leaders Forum of the Regions and Cities of Russia will take place in St. Petersburg, 26-27 October 2020. This year’s Forum main theme is Reality 2020 and Agenda for the Next Decade. The Forum Programme will include over 30 events tied to the Forum’s five thematic lines:

1. Strategizing is impossible, but needed
2. Strategies in the Great Transformation Period
3. Federal strategies and the strategy of federalism
4. International cooperation for regional development: strategies and tools in action
5. The 2030 Agenda: achieving SDGs in Russia (Forum Green Day)

The Forum Programme will also include the V Strategic Planning Leaders Forum Youth Platform 2020 “Games of Goals”.
