2020-10-06 :: Irina Karelina and Elena Belova Participated in the Online Workshop “Common Road Map for COOPERATION in BSR: Joint actions for Sustainable Region”

On October 6, the Director-General Irina Karelina and the Secretary General, Head of Development Department Elena Belova participated in the online workshop “Common Road Map for COOPERATION in BSR: Joint actions for Sustainable Region”.

Organisers: CBSS, HA Neighbours, HA Capacity (Swedish Institute, UBC), City of Turku, St. Petersburg Government - Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg, Leontief Centre.

The Workshop was held as part of the 11th Annual Forum of the EUSBSR Turku 2020, taking place online this year. The Workshop discussed the possible formats, actions and measures to undertake for further development of the cooperation between multilevel stakeholders in the EU and the North Western Russia. The Workshop also focused on the outcomes of so far implemented CBC and BSR Interreg projects. The Workshop brought together representatives from cooperation platforms, cities and regions to discuss the Road Map and possibility to draft a Joint Action Plan for Sustainability of the Baltic Sea region as well as the instruments and resources needed for that purpose.
